This was the 1st thing I shot on 16mm. The song is very political and refers to the rise of the French National Front. All our permits were revoked because of islamist bomb attacks in Paris so we shot at night without permissions. All the portraits were done in the Marais, scene of Galliano's demise. Don't know what happened to MANFRED, but I thought he was interesting
